St. Petersburg College (FL) received a verbal commitment today from All-State guard TaNiya Pryor. The Central-Macon (GA) product broke down her decision with our Hypesouth team.
“It was a very difficult decision, but everything considered I just felt St. Pete was the best fit academically, athletically, and right place to help me get to a higher level. Also, when I talked to Jada Clowers (fellow Central-Macon Lady Charger alumna and St. Pete grad) she made me feel even more comfortable with my decision.”
Pryor will provide depth, size, and defensive tenacity on the perimeter. The 5-foot-10 lead guard possesses a combination of length and skills that will attract four year programs sooner than later. A breakout senior campaign helped her become one of the hottest names in Georgia’s 2022 class and a priority prospect for NJCAA programs throughout the Southeast.
