HypeSouth Elite AAU (Formerly Macon United) Basketball

The Hypesouth Elite Basketball Program is a branch from Macon United Athletics. The thought process in starting the program was to create a positive outlet for inner city kids in the Macon-Middle Georgia area, due to the ongoing violence among youth. It provides mentoring services, academic assistance, athletic training as well as exposure opportunities.

This season (2017), the program will consist of two boys travel teams that will compete in the thirteen and under and fifteen and under divisions. After showing steady progress on the lower travel circuits in each of our first four seasons, Hypesouth looks to play its way into the conversation by moving up to the bigger showcase circuits moving forward. The teams will consist of players from surrounding Middle Georgia areas such Bibb County, Jones County, Monroe County, Houston County etc.
