As we approach the end of the 2025 offseason which included travel ball and school ball workouts throughout the spring and summer, here are a few midstate underclassmen who are primed to make names for themselves moving forward.

2027, Rowan Woodrich (headline image), Peach County

At 6-foot-7, Woodrich possesses the size, skillset, and competitive edge to become one of the top prospects in the Peach State’s rising junior class.

He’s shown flashes of  his potential and is simply waiting on the right moment to break all the way out. This spring, On the Radar Hoops recognized him as an early 16u MVP candidate. He also got a few phone calls following his impressive play during the Georgia Basketball Coaches Association Live Period Event in June.

2028, Jarvis Williams, Central-Macon

In 2024-25, Williams burst onto the scene as a true freshman. He knocked down a school record 96 threes en route to being named All-State Freshman of the Year by varying outlets.

The Central-Macon sharpshooter is widely viewed as one of the top perimeter threats in Georgia’s 2028 class and we fully expect his upward trend to continue as time progresses.

2028, Karon Plummer, Houston County

Plummer has grown a few inches this offseason and is looking more and more like a promising young prospect to keep early tabs on. The 6-foot-4 lead guard has all the tools to be the next big time, high-level prospect out of Middle Georgia. Catch him on the OTR Circuit during the July evaluation periods.

2027, Jeremy Banks, Putnam

This kid comes from a proven pedigree and has a sweet shooting stroke that’ll translate at every level. The south-paw sharpshooter isn’t a high volume shot taker, but he’s efficient when he takes them. We foresee his numbers and notoriety skyrocketing as he continues to carve out a bigger role for the War Eagles.

2027, Jonathan Hurley, Southwest-Macon

Right now, Hurley is relatively unknown but that will change in a couple months. The 6-foot-5 wing has supreme athleticism, an automatic midrange jumper, and great defensive instincts that’ll make it hard to keep him off the court. Jonathan Hurley, remember the name.
