The boy’s edition of the Hypesouth Hardwood Invitational took place on Saturday November 29, 2025 and it was full throttle energy all day. There were an abundance of players that made their marks, but here are the prospects who caught the attention of our staff the most.
FIRST TEAM
Caron Howard had his way scoring 30 points and handing out 7 assists in the Patriots win over Monroe-Albany. Karez Demory showed why Southern University made him a priority on the recruiting trail. The Baldwin standout put up 21 points, snatched 4 steals, and dished out 3 assists to help lift the Braves to victory. Jamar Johnson continued to be a pleasant surprise for Peach County in Cam Cherry’s absence. He threw in 29 points raising his season average to 22.7 points per contest. Morehead State signee Malik Gillespie turned in a double-double performance (21 points, 10 rebounds) in a down to the wire win over Putnam. Monroe-Albany standout Brayden Burns pumped in 36 points and was the top overall bucket getter from the event.
SECOND TEAM
Putnam unsigned senior Jmari Greene tossed in 30 points in the nightcap game and further cemented himself as one of the top scorers in Georgia’s 2026 class. Jarvis Williams sniped his way to a 26-point outing against New Hampstead which included 5 made three-pointers. Tristan Terry contributed 18 points playing second fiddle to Brayden Burns. Chase Dupree was steady for Southwest-Macon with 20 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists. Rowan Woodrich controlled the paint versus Johnson-Savannah. The 6-foot-7 Peach County forward bullied his way to a 13-point, 12-rebound, 2-block performance.
THIRD TEAM
Johnson-Savannah point guard Quentin James managed the game well distributing 8 assists and scoring nine points. Jalen Whitley scored 20 points and was a bright spot for Westside-Macon. Josh Jackson came up big with 17 points in Houston County’s one-point win. Jalen Suber set the tone for an exciting day of hoops in the opening game with 15 points and 5 steals. Tristan Warren was an important component in the Demons win. He added 12 points and made game changing plays that don’t show up in the box score.
