There were six action packed games at this year’s Hardwood Invitational hosted by Hypesouth Media and here are the players that stood out.


FIRST TEAM

Marnay’Jah Reynolds pumped in 39 points to help lift Bacon County past Central-Macon. Aubrey Norris did a little bit of everything in Jones County’s win over Lee County. She finished with 14 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists.

Jade Kitchens led the way for Washington County with 16 points, 8 boards, and 5 dimes. ESPN 4-star Kie’Aundria Acree was once again the top overall performer from the event. The Monroe-Albany standout filled the box score with 34 points, 13 rebounds, 6 assists, and 5 steals. Madyson Jones came up with 12 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists guiding Warner Robins to victory.


SECOND TEAM

Monroe-Albany 2027 guard Taylor McKinzy threw in 18 points en route to joining the 1000-point club. Central-Macon sophomore JaMyree Simmons turned in a 23-point, 10-rebound double-double performance.

Janiya Scott impressed onlookers with her electric 26-point outburst. Domonique Billue tossed in 18 points against Waco in game 3. Baldwin 2027 forward Suri Clark was a bright spot for the Bravettes. She had 26 points and collected 14 rebounds.


THIRD TEAM

Paris Rosser was the engine that made the Lady Bulldogs go. The senior sparkplug wreaked havoc on both sides of the ball finishing with 12 points, 4 steals, and 3 assists. Camya Hutcherson paced Lee County with 11 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists.

Mid-major+ prospect Trinitee Thomas put up 11 points, grabbed 6 rebounds, and reeled in 5 steals for the Demonettes. Karma Rosser had twelve points in Spencer’s win over Veterans. Six-foot-two Makayla Thomas contributed 13 points and snagged 8 rebounds for Bacon County.
