hypesouth_jordan_snow_brownJordan Brown is quickly claiming his name to fame in the South Georgia area. He is following in the footsteps of his father, Dr. Earnest Brown Sr., an Albany, Georgia hoop legend. The 5-foot-11 sophomore known as “Snow” is a marksman from beyond the arc. His ball handling skills and unlimited range have drawn early comparisons to Stephen Curry.

GROWTH PROCESS

Last season, Brown was a spot starter in his first year at
Westover (GA). In an early season matchup against Manchester (Class AA state runner-up) he poured in 21 points, 3 assists, and
3 rebounds, which proved to be a confidence builder for him the rest of the way. He finished the season on a high note and carried that momentum over into the summer.

Averaging 16-points, 4-assists, and 2-rebounds per game for the travel (15u) Atlanta Celtics, he gained HM D-1 interest. Already holding an offer from Mississippi State, Brown also impressed Auburn, Georgia, and Florida A&M during the travel season.

In addition, during a recent fall preview showcase, the sweet-shooting two guard put on a shooting clinic that left college coaches and spectators in awe. Jordan has undoubtedly solidified his place as one of the top underclassmen in the state heading into the season. With leading scorer Allec Williams’ departure, expect Brown to become a full-time starter and the leader for Westover moving forward.
