Fagan began his ascension on the 2016 summer travel ball circuit and carried that momentum over into the prep basketball season. At the beginning of the year, the 6-foot-3 shooting guard was severely underrated and a virtually unknown player around the state, but that changed quickly as he consistently began putting together huge performances against solid competition. By season’s end, the sweet shooting lefty inserted himself as a household name in the state of Georgia and earned Region 2-AAAA Co-Player of the Year honors. Further, he racked up a collegiate offer from Middle Tennesse State University and emerged as a top priortity on the recruiting trail for several HM D-1 programs such as UGA who has already hosted Fagan for an unofficial visit.
